Construction Education Council
Established in 1998, the Construction Education Council (formerly the Canadian Mechanical Contracting Education Foundation (CMCEF)) was created to promote continuous learning, with a focus on new management techniques and procedures for the betterment of the Canadian mechanical contracting industry. Today, the Construction Education Council is widely known as the education arm of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada, and offers training programs to enhance career and skill development designed specifically for the construction industry.
The role of the Construction Education Council is:
- to assess the education and training needs of the industry
- to promote and deliver programs to meet those needs
- promote careers in the construction industry
- liaise with other training organizations actively involved in the sector
CEC Governance
As a Council of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada, the CEC is governed by representatives of the MCAC Board of Directors and MCA Partners.
