October 5, 2020 – The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) wrote a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following the Speech From the Throne, outlining key areas where the mechanical contracting sector can play an important role in the rebuilding of the Canadian economy.
The Speech from the Throne outlined your government’s intention to reinvigorate the economy, and fight climate change, through investments in improving the built environment. We are writing on behalf of thousands of workers and small businesses from coast-to-coast-to-coast that will benefit from this commitment to express our gratitude. We also wish to underscore the important role that we play in the transition to a low-carbon economy that will benefit all Canadians.
