Tania Johnston leads MCAC as its Chief Executive Officer, with more than 20 years of experience at the Association. Previously Tania served as the Executive Director of the Construction Education Council (CEC), and as Executive Director, Education and Special Projects for MCAC prior to taking on the role of CEO.

Emily Seabrook, CMPEvents Manager
Emily Seabrook has joined the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada as the Events Manager. She has 9 years of corporate event planning and project management experience in the non-profit, private, and government sectors, and obtained her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2022.

Kay Parkes-BlancMarketing & Business Development Coordinator
Kay Parkes-Blanc is the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator at the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada. She brings over six years of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination across the nonprofit, private, and industry sectors. Her background includes managing logistics for national initiatives, developing targeted outreach strategies, and supporting cross-functional projects that drive member engagement and organizational growth.

Leah Schroder is the Bookkeeper and Office Manager at the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada. She brings extensive experience in office management, bookkeeping, and administrative operations across a variety of sectors. Known for her attention to detail and strong organizational skills, Leah plays a key role in supporting the association’s day-to-day operations and mission-driven work.

Piers YoungProgram Coordinator
The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada team welcomes Piers Young as Program Coordinator, bringing a diverse background in workforce development and education portfolios. Originally from Victoria, BC, he holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. His experience spans stakeholder engagement, research, and government relations, with a strong focus on supporting emerging leaders and advancing career development across the mechanical contracting industry.
