World Plumbing Day, celebrated annually on March 11, highlights how plumbing connects people to health, safety, and opportunity. This year’s theme, “Plumbing Connects the World,” reminds us that clean water and skilled plumbing professionals are essential for communities everywhere.
Our Role
At Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC), we advance Canada’s plumbing and mechanical construction industry by championing skilled trades, supporting contractor excellence, and promoting safe, reliable plumbing systems that protect public health. Through education, advocacy, and national collaboration, MCAC helps shape the future of plumbing by strengthening the workforce, encouraging innovation, and ensuring industry standards continue to evolve.
This World Plumbing Day, MCAC has partnered with the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) to engage youth, families, industry professionals, and community groups through our World Plumbing Day Colouring Contest.
