MCA Canada and CIPH Issue Paper on Prompt Payment and Bi-National Cooperation

Both MCA Canada and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) agree that Trade contractors and suppliers working on projects, including federal government projects, currently face late payments for work performed. This creates cash flow problems and in many cases, bankruptcy. This has to stop. In additional, both associations support the efforts of the Regulatory Cooperation Council (RCC) and agree that there should be a joint Canada-U.S. standards secretariat established. View PDF
