The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) are pleased to offer in partnership a three part webinar series on the “Industrialization of the Construction Industry”.  The construction industry is reaching an inflection point, beyond which things may never look or be the same again.  Like many industries, the construction industry is under constant pressure to improve productivity, reduce cost and waste.  While the productivity in the manufacturing industry has improved by four hundred percent over the last century, the construction industry’s productivity has stayed flat, if not negative.  One main reason for the improvement of the manufacturing and other industries’ productivity is due to the “Industrialization”.  At the same time, shifts in the market and disruptive innovations caused new players toemerge serving new customers and expanding the market.

In this presentation, Dr. Perry Daneshgari will explain the three forces leading to the construction industry’s inflection point:

This following three webinars are designed to show:

  1. Week 1 – March 28, 2017: Industrializtion of Construction – What is happening and how to get ready for it.
  2. Week 2 – April 4, 2017: Disruption of the Construction Industry – How will it happen and what should you do about it?
  3. Week 3 – April 11, 2017: Shift in the Construction Market – How to deal with the new realities
